It's a Boy!
|
At 7:55pm Sunday August 22, 2004, Owen Christopher Peterson entered the world and we just couldn't be happier!
Owen weighed 8 pounds 1 ounce and was 19 1/2" long (for those who like to know
).Mom Ldara is recovering well and so far everyone seems to be healthy.
We're glad the day finally came. Now I must take care of our animals and head back to the hospital. See you soon everyone!

Thanks all.
Just came home to take care of our animals and do some chores while mom and baby sleep.
It's funny to think that the two of us could be a part of something so beautiful. He's really something!
So far he's been very well behaved. Not a big crier. As one nurse put it, "he's more of a grunter". To which I responded, "well then we KNOW he's a man, he already speaks the language!"
Things will be a tad hectic for us in the next couple weeks, so if we're a bit slow to respond to messages, please bear with us. I'm on about 2 hours of sleep right now.
The other good news today is that the DSL switchover went pretty smoothly, though I didn't expect to have to reconfigure it this morning at 7am, when they said it would be done at 5pm.
Hopefully everyone notices the speed increases!
Well I'm off for now, have a good day everyone and thanks again!

Hehe, thanks again all! What an amazing and tiring 24 hours. I'm home early tonight for some much needed sleep and before I left I made sure both Ldara and Owen were tucked in for the night.
Tomorrow morning I'll head over early for day 2!
I'm afraid we may have to fight our way out of the hospital. All the nurses are in love with the little guy and who can blame them?!
He's really been great and we are so happy we can share our special time with all of our extended family!

More of a grunter eh? Sorry to hear he's likely to be more Dwarf than Elf.
Grats to both of ya's. Just remember...twink 'em too much (especially when young) & you end up with a dr00d.

Very nice picture!! I remember my 5-year old when she was that age - what about two weeks ago??? LOL!

Well we're just now home, we're fed, baby's eating now and soon as he's asleep we'll unpack.
